What could be the reason for the Osmolator water level alarm to go on, although the water level is 5cm from the float switch? The osmolator is 4 years old and has been working perfectly until now. This is a huge problem for me, because if the alarm is on, no water is pumped to replace the evaporating water. The alarm can be reset by cutting the power for a short while, but it randomly starts again at some point.
The return pump might be a bit old also, and sometimes it does not pump any water to the tank although the sensor light is yellow, but this should not have anything to do with this issue, should it? There is no pump failure alarm in the osmolators right?
