Tunze sideways?

Would it matter if the Tunze stream pump (older style, 6201) was placed on it's magnet, secured tightly, and then placed in the tank sidways? I ask this because where I want to mount my 4 streams, the magnet is too large to sit the way it's meant to but WILL fit sideways. The magnet is actually smaller top to bottom than it is left to right. I'm not sure if any of this made sense as I don't think I'm explaining it right...lol. I just want to make sure the pump won't be ruined by doing this.

The pump itself wouldnt matter, but not sure how the mount would hold up. Also wold take care that there is no way the pump could dropp down over time.

I agree with Shawn, the main risk is the pump falling out of position or off the mount.

Since it won't harm the pump, that will be my main concern as well. I'm going to play with some zip ties and see what I can come up with.
