I purchased a Tunze Stream 6060 for my 54 gallon corner bowfront tank. The LR is mounded in the center in a "coral head" formation. I have 1" of sand on the bottom. Skimming is provided by a Remora HOT as shown in the photo. The Tunze will be my only pump/powerhead.
I am interested in the proper placement of the pump for optimal diffuse water movement without blowing the sandbed around. My initial thought is to mount the Stream at the junction of the two back panels near the top of the tank with the flow directed forward toward the bowfront glass.
Do you have any other suggestions on the best mounting position for a Stream 6060 in a 54 corner tank?
