Tunze Stream 6060

Hi i ordered a tunze stream 6060 from you guys in may and now it is not working the order # is 100285474 what can i do about this? i've have sent email to customer service on this last friday with no response.

Thank you for your post, I'm sorry to hear that your Tunze 6060 stopped working, Please check the unit and make sure all electrical connections are making contact, make sure that there is no debris in the propeller area, also check for any calcium build up on the magnetic impeller shaft, with out regular cleanings this will prevent it from spinning. Unfortunately we are not authorized to do any warranty service on these pumps, tunze prefers to trouble shoot any problems with their products and will handle all warranty service directly with you. I'll send a copy of your invoice and contact information to Roger at Tunze so he may contact you. If you wish to contact Roger your self you may contact him at (512)833-7546.

Have you cleaned the pump in the time you have had it? Normally they must be disassembled and cleaned every 6 months or calcium will lock the pump up and it will stop running. Please check this first, Walter gave my contact info above. We also have our own forum and there is a thread specifically on how to clean these pumps.
