Tunze Stream at 30% loud vibration?

I've had my Tunze Stream 6100 for almost a year. It is being used with the single controller. Recently I noticed it sounding louder when it would switch to my lowest setting I'm guessing 45% power. So I placed both settings on 30% and it sounded like vibrating or grinding, but not grinding? At 100% it sounds fine low hum like usual. I did take it out and gave it a good scrubbing and rinsed with tap water. Should I clean it again and use some vineger? It sounds like the impeller (old design) is out of balance at low settings. Should i disassemble it and soak with vineger and soak the main motor housing too? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would clean it thoroughly and inspect the hole in the magnet for minerals as water must enter through here to levitate and lubricate the magnet/bearing surface. Also, check for a red oring under the shaft where the shaft meets the magnet, you may be missing this piece and I can send you one. Your pump may be from before that was added. It sits in the grove that the shaft sits in. Remember to just pop out the brakes to remove the shaft, it generally ends badly if you try to unscrew the prop and it isn't necessary to remove the prop. You may well find some calcium build up in the brake shoes which can also cause this noise.

I disassembled the impeller and found that indeed the hole was clogged in the magnet. I soaked all the parts in vineger and the motor housing. A little scrubbing and now the motor sounds like when I first got it. Also I used vineger that wasn't diluted (bottle said diluted by 5%), but I didn't dilute it any further. Would not diluting it damage the motor housing?
