Tunze stream flow lenght ?

Hi there

Im planning a long an narrow setup, with to stream 6100 in the same end on a multi controller.

How long can a tank be, with out having flow problems ? It will be 90% sps and lps, and i planning on taking advantage of the different flow amount for the different coral types

How long are you planning?

Get the 6200 they are beasts.

I can say that in a 2 meters the 6100 is easily felt on the opposite glass, if your tank is narrow, so it'll be even stronger.

I dont know about China, but you can get a good deal for Tunze in Hong Kong.

The Stream 6000 has a flow of about 1.2m by .6m

The 6100 has a flow of about 2.2m by .6m

The 6200 is about 2.4m by .8m

But i dont !

My old tank was 65, i would like 200, but i need a temporaly setup for 1-2 years and this will be it. I will base it on equipment that i can reuse on a larger tank.

The tank will as stated be like 45x60x160 cm WxHxL + sump part.

I have the skimmer, will start with one stream and DIY the lamps. It will also have a auto top up with kalkwasser
