Tunze Upgrade Question

I was thinking about upgrading from the 6000's to the 6100's... I'm having a problem with detritus/sediment build up in my 120g...

I have 2 x 6045s and 2x 6000's... They are setup in the following configuration:

NS=Nanostream
TS=Turbelle stream...
RP=Returnpump

I have the tank set up as a peninsula in between my living room and my dining room... The tank is viewable from the front back and side listed... I have a rock peninsula in the middle with sand bed to either side... The 6000's are in the Deco rocks and apart of the peninsula... I'm having detritus/sediment build up in between the TS flow and the glass...

Do you guys think I would be better off replacing the 6025's with 6100's or would I be better off adding a Wavebox6212???

If you don't understand my diagram, I can post pics if necessary...

Post some pics, generally the wavebox is the best way to lift detritus, that is something it really excels at. You could also upgrade the pumps.

If you're facing the tank from the front, the 6045's are on the right hand side front and back corner... where as the 6000 Deco Rocks are built into the Rock peninsula (I no longer have two rock islands like in the pics)... I'm having build up on the left hand side between the 6100's and the glass both in front of the peninsula and behind it...


If I got the wavebox, where should I mount it???

I would place the wavebox where the front left pump is now.
