Tunze wavebox on 60" long tank

Will this work fine? I have an old beat up one I purchased from a person. Tank dimensions are 60 x 17 x 18.

BTW - what is the optimum length of tank for 1 wavebox?

It should be fine, there really is no optimal. I hope you mean the wavebox is old and beat up and not the tank. A wavebox will likely destroy an old beat up tank. As long as the tank is at least 4ft long you should get a decent wave.

LOL, the tank is good. Yes it is the wavebox - still works fine, just the box is well worn. Eventually I'll buy a new box. Pump and controller still works solid.
