Tunze6105 with apex problems

I am using one 6105 on a 75g tank which is place on the right side of the tank about 4" below the water line. I am having a little issue with getting the Apex to control the 6105 with the new controllable cable. I thought I had it working but am unable to get it to control anything. The flow on the 6105 is just constant even when I tried to get the apex to tune down the flow to 30%. As a test to weed out any possibilities, I did the following

1. Set all variable speed on Apex to PF1 and AUTO

Synchronize Disabled
Divide by 10 Enabled
Initial OFF time 0
On time (seconds) 8 which equals out to .8
OFF time (seconds) 8
Minimum Intensity 30
Maximum Intensity 100

Doing it this way which ever wire I use or whichever slots I put the wires in would be running the same program. I turned the little white knob all the way up to where I can hear the humm using 18v adapter. I can hear the humm come on and off (I think at this point, not sure anymore) somewhat with it plugged into the apex. But when I place my hands in front of the pump, the flow is the same regardless. When I turn down the little white knob to where I can't hear the humm anymore the flow again is still constant. I tried to turn off the variable speed on the Apex to see if it would turn off the powerhead and it doesn't do it. Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to get a little pulse action in this 75 of mine. Thanks in advance.

You have set the Apex to 0% and 100%? If not try that and turn off the divider and see if it does anything.

If turning the white knob on the junction box is slowing down the pump (aka lowering the hum) but the on off doesnt work I have to guess the problem lies with the Apex or the Cable. I have not played with my Apex enough yet as I just recently got one to play with and am not home to remind myself but if setting the varible ports to off actually would turn off the pump connected not just turn off the variable speed settings I would again point to the Apex not the Stream.

I know that probably isnt much help.

We don't authorize, endorse, test or license any other brand of controller. So I would not be able to answer your question, I have never used an Apex. The most I could do is if you sent in the pump, I could verify that it works with our controllers and rule out a pump problem.

just an fiy it isn't the pump, I took the pump to a friend's house who is using a 7096 controller. It worked perfectly fine on that controller so it isn't the pump. Curt over at Neptune system is kind enough to work through this problem with me, so yeah it isn't the pump. I posted this on here before taking the pump to my friend's house.
