Turbelle Stream Problems

My husband and I purchased 2 Tunze Turbelle Streams, A 6100 and A 6060. The 6100 is rated at 3175gph and the 6060 at 1600gph.
The problem is that the 6100 does not feel as strong as the 6060.
We already had to send the 6100 back to Tunze because the cord was breaking off. Then Tunze sent us a "brand new 6100".
Which we got today via UPS. We put the 6100 in our tank connected it to the controller and set it for MAX output but it is considerably less powerful than the small/cheaper 6060. Is anybody familair with this pump? Why is the 6100 not as strong as the 6060?

When you say it is set to the MAX output do you mean it is set to max on the controller or the driver(silver box)?.... Make sure the driver is set to max as well if not.

Besides the driver being at full power is it possible you have a 6000? The 6000 has a 6100.10 motor as well. You can tell them apart by the transformer, it is part 7210.202 on a 6000 and 7410.602 on a 6100. A 6000 and 6060 should be about the same.
