Turboflotor 1000 multi SL

I just got a Turboflotor 1000 multi SL.
It was easy to set up ,however when I start ii up it produces so much foam it fill up cup in 10 minutes or less. I reduced the length of hose between pump and skimmer(as noted in manual )and put on longer neck. Can anyone help me get this working properly.

I have the same skimmer and although a bit of a pain in the ***, it does a great job once you get it working correctly.

I frequently have to shut the pump off and restart a few times to get it to not overflow after cleaning the cup. I think it has to do with the needle wheel.

Try shutting it down a couple times and then letting it run again.(I know it sounds silly).

That seems to work for me.

i would take the cup off for about three days. i have the same one. i did put the longer neck on and it helped. after three days turn off the skimmer .. put collection cup back on and try again . check on it in about 10 minutes .. if not try another 2 days with the collection cup off..
i love mine it produces some of the blackest smelliest skim i have ever seen

that is if you have a sump otherwise just let it run over in the cup

Have you tried twiddling the two black knobs? By a process of trial and error you can manage to get it to fill slower. I've recently got one as well and at first it was producing loads of wet skimmate and I had to use the extra neck. Has settled down now but still occassionally goes a bit crazy especially after emptying the cup. The instruction booklet I found particularly unhelpful.

yep i`ve the same one. i`ll second the twiddling of the black knobs, and slowly open them back up over a couple of days and you should be fine.
