Tuxedo Urchin

I have a tuxedo urchin in my tank that I picked up from pete97 a while back. It's a brilliant shade of royal blue with reddish brown spines. Apparently Pete had it in his tank for quite a while before selling it to me and it's done quite well in my tank as well. The only problem with this guy, IMO, is his insatiable craving for coralline. I currently have him in a 20G prop tank and he's stripped most of the live rock bare. I hate to do it, because he's actually very cool to observe, but I'd like to give this little guy to someone who can provide him with a good home. He's perfectly healthy, about 2" around, and very active both day and night. I just kind of miss the lush purple color the rock had exhibited before I added him. So here he is, and he's free; I just want him to go to a good home with a tank large enough to meet his demands (both dietary and otherwise).

side note: Pick-up will be at Sac State...

I had him in a 92g with about 150+ lbs of live rock. I didn't have noticeable reduction in coralline, just the occasional bumble of a frag I hadn't secured well enough. I'd kind of like him back, but I have too many frags I'd have to secure to be able to take him back.

Super awesome to observe, as Jon mentioned.

I will take him, I have a BB tank with plenty o' purple stuff. In fact, I already one of these suckers and wouldn't mind another.

I want to make sure that this one is not the boring kind and just cruises around eating coralline right?

Okay, the tuxedo urchin is back on the boards. There have been some scheduling difficulties, so the previous person was not able to pick him up. I'd really like him to find a suitable home soon; he really is quite intriguing.

Yes, I am a flake........Its been hard to break away from work and I apologize for any inconvience.

never said you were a flake, nor do I feel that way. I totally understand scheduling problems. no problem at all!
