Two clowns pair stimulate mating behaviour?

If you have two pairs of clowns in the same system, but in different tanks within that system, does having one pair breeding stimulate the other? ie do they give of pheromones or similar which would get the other clowns excited?

I've seen ORA have had some mixed species hybrid from multiply spawns. Was this because they sychronise spawning? or just because there are so many horny clowns that its inevitable?

I've seen it done. I think it speeds uo the natural instinct of younger pairs to start mating.
