two eyes watching us !!!

I just set up a 16g. tank. L/R and sand delivered on friday. Found a mantis in the L/R box in rubble. He did'nt make the trip. Tonight my wife and I were looking at 2 new feather dusters that my son found. when my wife noticed the two eyes looking at us from a hole in the rock. The little **** won't come out. I'm thinking about siliconing the hole closed. NOT. But how do you catch them??? Any help would be nice.

As for getting him out, Can you take the rock out ? If so place it out of water over a bucket. Leave it over night and see if that will
coax him out. If not I have heard people using setzer water or fresh RO to force him out. Always if you take him and place him and the rock out of water he will hopefully leave the rock to get to the water. If you get him I will gladly pay to have him shipped to me.

Dav A friend from work got him out and kept it. that was the second one we found so far. once the tank finishes nitrogen cycle we plan on keeping A peacful tank. If we find another one I will keep you in mind. Third one could be A charm. mike.
