I have said it many times and will continue to stress it. This coral needs a good supply of Actinic lighting to make the green really glow and the purple almost pink. If I recall correctly even the Leng Sy colony, which was grown under 20k bulbs, also had actinic supplementation.
Are the polyps still bright green/yellow? Why don't you send us an updated picture? I am curious about what it looks like.
I just rescued a large mother colony from someone that acquired it as a frag from my mother colony at least two years back and it two was a sort of tan olive (Not even that green) but boy the polyps where really bright. I guess they contrast even more when the background tissue is not as green. He was growing it under MH as well. Any way it's been in my system for a little over a month now and I can really see the difference in color. I wish I had taken a picture of the before.

It still has some more coloring up to do. I will post the grandma colony in the next post so that you can see the difference. This is the original frag that has grown into my biggest mother colony, about 12 inches across.
