UGH!!!!!! Can't figure this @#$#$ (Auto top off) out

I switched out my auto top off to the JBJ unit as my other has finally died. It is being fed with a maxijet 400 and when the level tops off it shuts off the maxijet but the maxijet continues to fill the tank on a siphon, I think. It has over flowed my system once already. How do I fix this????

source has to be lower than the feed gimme a call Ben I had a simmilar problem !!

make sure the tube that tops off is higher than the level of the water in your reservoir. That way, when the pump stops, the water in the tubing will flow back into the reservoir.

MAKE SURE THE END GOING TO THE TANK/SUMP IS NOT IN THE WATER, OR IT WILL SIPHON YOUR TANK INTO THE RESERVOIR.

I had to deal with a siphon issue when i plumbed in my Kalk reactor, so i know the drill pretty well.

I have my RO/DI on a stand at a level above everything. I beat the siphon by installing a tee in the line through the wall of the Brute trashcan. Connect to the tee on the inside is a JACO ball valve that allows me to control how much flows back into the reservoir. When the ATO pump turns off, the ball valve breaks the siphon.
