Ugh, sometimes I'm crazy...

Great looking pair, Peter! I love your livestock choices, and this pair of fish just make it that much better. Hopefully I get my fish to devour pellets like your fish do at some point. :)

The tink's continue to do very well, gobbling up pellets. I'll also give them some scallop at the end of the day just to add a bit more roundness to their bellies. There is some aggression during feeding between the two, but none otherwise. They are in 0.25 cupramine.

Unfortunately I lost the little annularis 3 days in. He never looked good from the morning after I bought him :(

I saw you posted this morning and thought maybe you were announcing that you had Picked up that little larvatus from DD. I was so tempted, but my QT is packed at the moment.

Once was enough down that road ;)

The tinker's continue to do well, though they really disliked the prazi treatment and stopped eating. Just did a 75% water change last night, so hopefully their appetites are back today.

Anyone interested in a pair like this, PAI has another, and is running a sale, making them less than $800 for the pair!! That's a killer deal!

Wow that's a huge deal! Hope yours get back to eating soon.

Jacob

I should rephrase... they stopped eating pellets, but still went for frozen food. Hopefully they go back to pellets with the meds gone.

My Mitratus didn't like prazi either. I even ended pulling it and adding it back slowly. I've always kinda felt that the fish that act that way probably need it the most. I'd love to have that Tinkers pair but after the Mitratus I haven't been brave enough to put one in my reef again. Ill do it eventually though.

 lol

I'm sure they will devour the pellets once they hit your DT.

Just looked at PIA and he has some really great stock. If I wasn't having people over for the holidays I'd set up another QT :hammer:

Well, unfortunately the end to this long story is that I lost one of the tinks just after the holidays :( The other one is doing fine, but that really stings. I think this was a good reminder to me of why I don't normally buy expensive fish.

The good news is I finally moved the blueline angel and remaining tinkeri into the DT, and moved the aussie CBB into the newly setup reef, so that QT is now empty!

Sorry to hear about the tink, but I'm glad to hear that things have calmed down since then. I'd love to see an update vid if you get the chance, maybe some of the reef too.

I redid the rocks on the right side of the FO and I think it looks a million times better, so I'll definitely snap some pics once I finish cleaning the glass and doing the water change.

Not much to see in the reef, yet...

Not nearly the same level of financial loss, but I know what you mean. I felt that way when I lost my Mitratus.
