I just got a great deal on a great pump for dosing my kalk. Pulsatron Pulsafeeder x030-xa-baa915t. $100 and change shipped, brand new. 30GPD max. It's basically a reef-filler on steroids.

Then I looked up those last letters on the model. BAA is for the material on the pump wet end, and this option, which cost more for whomever originally bought it, is pvc/hypalon/ceramic.

So, what is hypalon and is ceramic gonna be ok?

Not sure what the 915t is all about.

I beleive the hypalom is the seal material and te balls are ceramic. They should be fine.
