UK 400ltr SPS

Hi mate, just noticed that the amount of liverock is very minimal for the size of tank. Are you running any other filtration like Zeolite or Siporax or even a refugium etc? How much water changes do you carry out each week?

Thanks.

Minimal live rock but minimal bio load too. 1 yellow tang, 3 regal damsels, 1 clown and as of yesterday, 1 chain link wrasse.
My only supplemental filtration is skimmer and po4 reactor which at the moment is off line.
And a 50ltr water change has been done once in over 12 months. I dose tmc pro coral elements and have minimal waste to export so I figure why bother?

Oh and I have a fist-sized lump of cheato in the sump but not really grown in size since being added a month ago. Not sure my light is up to scratch tbh.

Yeah, that makes sense if it works why bother with extras. Thanks for the extra info.

Great colors you have there olly:eek:
Really can't pick my favorite pic!
I don't think corals can get much better than this, welldone!

Thanks Mike, nice of you to say, there are a lot better than mine! Getting a bottle of Acropower this weekend, will be interesting to see what effect it has on colour.

I'll be waiting for your opinion ollyp:)
I've heard mixed reports up until now and it would be really interesting to see what it will do to corals that are already spectacular, like yours!

This tank is in my top 10 RC tanks for sure. I love the minimalism and the fabulous growth formations. Nicely done!

How often do you dose the pro coral elements? Are you using both the K+ and A- elements?
