I had to put my maroon clown in qt a few weeks ago for mouth fungus/bacteria infection.

I put the maron back in the tank today, a few minutes ago really..

It took her about 2 minutes to find her bta and it was really interesting the first few minutes watching the clown shock herself on the bta trying to build up her tolerance of the bta.

Well after two or three minutes of this, her mouth starting getting really nasty, white spots, are these burns from the anemone? I took her out for mouth fungus (that led to other things as well) and minutes after going back in the tank her mouth is all white agian!! she keeps rubbing them in the bta. heres a pic of her aclimating to it just minutes ago taken. you can kinda make out her mouth, a lil blurry. sorry

should I worry??

Sometimes, when the fungus looks to have gone away, it is still in their system so I would wait until I saw no more signs of the fungus and then wait another week or two. I know this doesn't help now. Are you sure it was a fungus before? To fix the problem, you have to be sure you diagnose it correctly. If this came back just after the clown dove in to the anemone, it might not be a fungus...are you sure there was no white on the lips when you put him back in there?

chunks... yep. She went into QT in the beginning of march, got copper a week (missdiagnose) then maracyn 2 for the next week, then carbon to clear the water for 2 weeks and 5 days. I observed her bunches. Her fins are completely healed as well (fin rot) she was perfect.

Minutes after diving in her mouth and chin have white all over. Its amazing, an hour or so after she settled in (laying on the disk of bta) she still couldent really touch the tenicles to much. So Im pretty sure shes being stung all over her mouth. question is.. do i just let it happen while she biulds her mucus up, or pull her agian. If I pull her agian, I cant put her back, its just going to repeat itself....

so.. i guess.. is this normal, will she be ok...

definitely not normal, but I would just observe at this point. fungus takes time to grow and will not appear immediately. it mostly sounds like the clown has mucous gathering around it's mouth for some reason. if it doesnt go away, try to remove the BTA or cover it so the clown cant reach it and see if that alleviates the problem. in the meantime try to fortify her foods with garlic or another supplement like selcon or vita chem and keep the water clean. hopefully this will help to prevent any secondary problems

See how much of an effect this has on physical behavior. As long as she's still swimming normal and eating normal, I would keep waiting. When she starts showing signs of decline, take her back out and put her in QT until you make a decision on what to do. I wish you the best man! Keep us updated on what happens.
