Uncured Kaelini - What are the risks?

Well, i'm back here with more questions for you. As you may know, my local reef club is going to be placing a massive group order Post-Christmas. Among other things, I am interested in a single medium-ish piece of your Kaelini Tonga Ultra Show Live Rock - Uncured. From the customer comments, it seems as if I could receive quite a few corals and other desireable organisms as hitch hikers. The colors also look irresistable.

My question is this: I am currently running a 15g tank with a 5 gallon 'fuge and a CPR BakPak 2R Skimmer. Would uncured rock go through the die-off process in my tank? Also, about how many pounds would a 8" show rock weigh?

Thanks for (once again) answering my questions.

Kaelini (Tonga Island) rock comes in with an enormous amount of plant life and sponge on it. Most of this will die off during the curing process. For your size system I would not recommend putting it straight into the tank. I would try and cure it separately, or just purchase it from us once the rock is cured out.

A 8" piece of Kaelini would weight around 8-10lbs roughly. This could vary a little either way as well just depending on the particular piece.

Alright, i'll look into a nice show size of cured kaelini, then. If there's one thing my tank need, it's more rock!
