Unhappy Derasa.....

Suddenly, I appear to have an unhappy derasa clam. When I first got him he would fully open up and appeared to be content. Now, he doesn't open up as far and flips over on his side. He's at the bottom of my 65 sitting in the sand. Any idea why the sudden change in behavior?

150W 14K MH's, 65W PC's (1 10K, 1 Actinic). I have a bi-color blenny, bi-color pseudo, Clarkii clown, long-fin fairy wrasse.

I moved him under an overhang more into the shadows and he's fully open, sitting upright, but still not fully extended. Also the opening opposite his siphon seems to be gaping open. Never seen it like that before.

i would keep a really close eye on the blenny, they are known clam nippers
