Unhinged

My desera came unhinged today. The clam's shells do not match up together now, like one shell is lower than the other now. I was wondering if there was anything I could do, and also survival rates. Does it have an ok chance, or is it doomed.

I will try to take a pic later, but for now it still looks intact, and otherwise normal.

if the clam is opening fine and extending its mantle i wouldn't bother, just leave it be
