Union ball valve locally?

Ryan Herco in Tempe will have them in s 40 & s 80 in different brands. I used the George Fisher brand on 1 build in 2" & they retail over $100.00 each. Good valves are not cheap.
 
Never understood why people use schedule 80. I understand over kill on somethings but schedule 40 is perfectly fine.

Its a one time cost and some people prefer not to redo their plumbing, if something does goes wrong with a lower quality part. Unless your using 20+ of them, yes, the cost will add up, but if your only using a few, its not worth the headache down the road.
Not saying all sch. 40 are bad, but some are poorly made.

btw, its not an argument which one he should go with, but my personal preference.
 
fyi at lowes they sometimes keep the different size union valves in different isles in the store. When I went I got my 2" in one isle and the 1" one was in another isle.

I "think" home depot has the 1" but not the larger ones. they are usually on the top shelf.
