I like sour apple reds, purple hornets, flame throwers, red wines, fire and ice, armageddon, captain america(maybe, I still want to see this one in person), eagle eyes, ect. though not all of them are uncommon, therefore not all are super expensive. but they are unique in their coloring anyway IMO and so I value them.
I like people eaters, mostly for their history, been around a while, something I just dont think a collection is complete without. though hardly the most impressive looking after all this time.
only thing I can say is, zoas that are green or shades of brown, no matter how attractive they may be in a fancy macro shot or under actinic, will probably not be too eye catching in person. there are exeptions, but just be careful with them. everything looks great in a fancy macro shot.
reds, yellows, and blues are colors that stand out, greens, browns and sometimes purple tend to blend in. though Im a sucker for contrast, so the purple hornet is an exception here.
Ive gotten a number of zoas from places that dont deal in "named" zoas, they have their own names(which would be meaningless to you since they havent caught on, probably never will)
