Lymphocystitis, IME, does not cause scratching or flashing. How long has this been going on? How old is your tank? Have you introduced anything wet to the tank without quarantining it?

5 to 6 months fish still eating acting normal , breathing is elevated on the infected just had
enough now want my fish to look perfect again , ive lost a few fish
trying to treat this and its not budging

5 to 6 months tried everything i feel and still it remains tank has been in hypo for
5 weeks just need it id'ing cause i feel like giving up

These are full on white spots that dont drop they grow and hang around they look a little fluffy,
some of them have dropped off leaving craters and black marks
around the effected area

Did all of these treatments take place in the DT? If so, God only knows what the LR is leaching back into the water column. If I'm reading your situation properly; you must have a mix of some copper, CP, formalin, and mal,, green in the water column. If that's the case, you should get all of your fish into a QT, with new water, ASAP. I would never use that LR & substrate again.

Maybe but as it stands my fish still have problems ' from what i read cp formalin
malachite green doesnt absorb into substrate
So any ideas on the disease ?

Quick update I preformed a 30 min freshwater bath on the yellow tang in the picture , some of the spots fell off some had to be removed my hand but they all literally just fell off , yellow tang is breathing has slowed right down and is still feeding nicely in the sump , currently dosing display with formalin on day 4 dosed days 1&2 things have deff improved

Ok fish are still alive and eating but I believe the parasite is still in the system , performed two huge water changes and brought salinity back up to 1.018 , ive been reading heavily online the last few days , could this possibly be a ectoparasite ie fish lice or copepod parasite need advice. ????

I have something similar on a small regal tang which I have not been able to get rid of. Copper, prazipro, fresh water dips. It seems to dissapear overnight and then comes back days later. It has been in QT for 3 months with no luck on completely eradicating whatever it is.
