Ill try and get some more pics today, hes been hard to get to sit still lol. I dont think hes an ebli mimic, he was caught locally, possibly a scribble...

Looks like a juvenile that is kind of transitioning to adult Acanthurus Pyoferus to me! There are many color variants of this species and some keep the juvenile coloration to adulthood some don't, some mimic dwarf angel hybrids, some have different colors in different spots and those change or don't change when transitioning to adults.

Typical Juvenile, yours looks mostly like this with some transitioning visible

Ok i wasnt really fussed with a species id i know what it is, i just thaught it a strange color variant, one i hadnt seen before and was wondering how common this Color varient is in the hobby...

Stunning!!!!
No longer having a large enough system to keep one I must admit the single fish I miss the most is the A. pyroferus. I have never seen one quite like yours, absolutely beautiful.

It probably is a more uncommon color morph, never seen green/turquoise, gradient coloration on the fins, and lighter colored spots on one before.
