Unveiling new website

At long last, I have finally managed to get a good start on my new website. It was somewhat rushed in light of the forthcoming frag meet at St. James of Reefdom's. Many thanx to Nate Rogers for creating a very user friendly interface and his patience in tutoring me in its use. Please feel free to provide candid feedback. This is definitely a work in progress. I have many critters to yet add and I hope to introduce more features to make it more informative and interesting. While some photos are OK, many are not and will be gradually replaced. Please click on the following link or the little red house over my toolbar. Thanks for looking.

Great website, even better tank. I agree with Gary, showing growth rates gives everybody an idea of what may happen under ideal conditions. Keep up the great work with both of them.

Very nice web page. Glad to see your tank on line so others that dont live so close can see what a beautiful tank it is. The pictures do not do it justice. Are you limited on the size your pictures can be? They come thru on my end as a little grainy. I know you sit next to a laptop and may not be able to tell. Other than that its a nice page of a beautiful tank. Now you have to keep it updated :)

Thanx all. Yeah Ryan, the pictures are grainy. One of these days I have to learn how to optimize the use of my camera. Reading through the manual would probably help. There are also some good tips on the present issue of Reefkeeping. Presently, my website looks like a coral pricelist which is not my ultimate intention. I hope to slowly evolve it into something more compelling. As a first step, I have attempted to start putting some informative info into the coral descriptions and classifications. I also hope to provide ecological information about the status of natural reefs, diving experiences, and spatterings of Zen philosophies sprinkled throughout. Sort of like Zen and the Art of Reef Mainatenance. I also intend to donate some percent of profits generated by the web page to some as yet unspecified organization involved in addressing the crisis of the reefs and the factors that threaten them. Any suggestions would be welcome regarding this or anything else.
