awsome topic. the trouple here is that how can we tell when all ich parasites are gone. has anyone studied dormant periods when opportunity is low? u spoke about temp and that is clearly a sign but what about fish that harbor ich? i have read studies of perfectly healthy fish that harbor ich. once opportunity rises it attacks but what if we do not let an opportunity knock? does the fish continue to harbor the ich? and when these "experts" speak of harboring do they mean it is dormant? and how long can ich stay dormant? here a site that mentions this qoute
