I just took a updated tank pic (not the best pic) but i thought i would post it. Tell me what you think... be gentile this is my first tank and it has been setup for about 6 months so i know i have a long way to go. I am planning on upgrading my lights to the 4x24 watt T5 tek light so i can have some better corals right now i only have 2x18 watt T5s.

Looking great! I love the aquascaping. Are they glued in place? Oh and yeah... once you get some better lights, you will be lookin waaaaaay better :D
 
Very Nice. I bet ya that your evil lil' sea urchin will manage to knock over some of your very attractive aquascaping. You might wanna epoxy some of those more delicately placed pieces of rock.
 
i got the urchin as a hitch hiker...he hasnt done any damage yet if he does hes out. its nice to hear that you guys like the aquascaping i dont know if im too happy with it. its the only way the rocks will stay.
 
moon jelly got any pics or specs of your 29 gallon...would love to see what ya got..might give me some ideas.

thanks moon jelly looks great how long has the tank been setup and what kind of lighting are you using?

Red sea purple tang- I cant remember the name of it but i have seen it at a lot of LFS. It is just some bare rock that i got because i didnt want to spend the money on more live rock. It has been in the tank for about 1 or 2 months and is starting to darken up a lot. it used to be white.
 
I set up the tank in Aug 2005 but didn't get any corals til Feb 2006 (long story). I have PC lighting- one 65 w 10000k and one 65w actinic. I know this is overkill but in my sump I have an ASM G2 skimmer and a 9.5 mag drive for my returns.
 
cant wait to get my new lights so i can start loading up on coral. Your tank looks great moon jelly. i am planning on upgrading my lighting to the 4x24 watt tek light. and i pulled my remora skimmer to use the hang on fuge with built in skimmer so i can grow some pods and maybe get a maderine in the future.
 
Are you talking about one of those hitch hiking toe nails with nail polish on it??? Yeah it came with some live rock and the fish have not been able to eat since. I think they are going to sue me.
 
I did notice one of your clownfish has a tattoo on its belly. Its really small so I cant make it out, but I bet its really cool. :rollface:
 
Wait...are you telling me you're clownfish has a tattoo of a wrasse on it's belly? And you have a hitchhiking toenail???? sweetness!

I also have a dottyback with a red lobster tatoo.
