Updated Tank shots and Softies in Buffalo

Finally managed to take some decent pictures yesterday. I have a cheap camera, so I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality.

My tank is mostly softies, with a couple SPS frags. If anyone is in the Buffalo area is looking for any of the softies I have, I have frags of most and/or can get a frag pretty quick. Just post or PM if you are interested. I am interested in trades. Trading for dead presidents is also good.

I did not post this in the March 26 Frag Swap thread as I am not sure if I am going yet. I should know for sure next week.

Thanks!!

I recently rearranged the left side of the tank as the rock work was fit together too tightly. Now it's open enough that the bigger fish can swim through and behind. I got the idea from Steve Helinski. I saw his tank not too long ago and he was telling me that he had a channel through the center of his rock work that went from one side of the tank to the other. I thought that was cool and tried to replicate it. I will likely re-do the right side of the tank is a month or two to open it up more. Right now it's open enough for the little fish, but not the bigger ones. The Right side is actually like a volcano. The center is open all the way down to the sand.

I am trying not to disturb the tank too much at any given time.

The tank looks really good, especially for only being a year old or so.
I was wondering, what's that grate looking thing in the middle back of the tank?

This tank will be 6 months old on 3/18. Some of the contents are from the previous tank putting the age at just under 1 year.

The grate is the intake for a closed loop.

Here is a picture from the setup day. You can see the PVC around the rim of the tank, that is the return.

I really have to say, thanks to everyone for all the great feedback!!!

I've been admiring pictures of all of your tanks for so long and hoping that mine would be as nice some day. Guess I'm getting closer than I thought.

Again, Thank you !!!
