upgrade 6000 stream to 6100?

After reading a few threads it looks like this is possible? I was looking to add 6060 to get rid of some dead spots? I think a upgrade would do the trick also. The tank is a 125(6 ft) with a 6000 at opposite rear corners of the tank.

You just need the 7410.602 transformers for the pumps, Premium Aquatics and Reef Exotics as well as Aquarium Specialty stock these.

one more question before I order, does the 6100 fan alot more than the 6000, or is it just a stronger jet? I have a few acro colonies that have grown around the "lanes" created from the 6000's flow. The tank is 5 years old so it is tough to move things around without doing some major fragging. I am more concerned with the first 16 or so inches out of the stream.

It is a stronger jet, it has a 7ft reach. Most acros will adapt but you will need to slowly increase the flow.

as far as the width of the flow it would be the same as the 6000? not really concerned with the length of the flow.
