Upgrade from BioCube 14

ER95

Just keep swimming
Hi folks!:wavehand:

I have a Biocube 14 and man i'll tell you, it's an awesome tank! I have filled it up over time and cannot add any more corals or fish! :thumbdown.
You can tell from here:

I want to step into the SPS world when I do upgrade, BUT!... I have two tanks in mind.

JBJ 28 Nano Cube

- or -

BioCube 29

I would like to stay with Oceanic, but have heard good things from JBJ, I think lol. Are they both the same quality or no? Lighting?

What are your thoughts on the 2 and if someone has one, please chime in!

Thanks!

The is a BEAUTIFUL 14g BioCube!

Ive got the same tank, stock lights and after 4 months, already bought my next tank. A cardiff 24G. Im almost ready to upgrade the BioCube with LED's till I saw all that you did with the stock lights.

What LED strip did you install to get the colors to look like that? GREAT JOB!
I currently have a Blue Chromi and a YEllow Randall Goby in my BC. I also have a small Blasto, a frag of pulsing Xenia, a fuzzy green mmushroom and a small piece of star polyp.... so far from yours, but its a start.

Ill find pictures of mine and upload them in a few....

Ive seen some nice BioCube 29's and recently seen one with a LED upgrade from RapidLED, very nice setup. I thought I would like the rimless look, but already seeing some downside in water sloshing and getting on my magfloat cleaner... Im making an acryilic top for it soon.

Thanks!! I slipped a white/blue stunner LED Strip in between the bulbs. Yeah I'll be going with the Biocube 29 for sure, just transfer everything along with all my upgrades and bio balls to it.
