upgrade to t5 from pc question

For 8 years I have been using 4X65 watt Power Compacts over my 48 inch 60 gallon tank and I am ready for a change in lighting. The PC's never seem to illuminate the corners of the tank and reach into nooks and crannies....

Anyway, if I am going to do t5's (which is what I am leaning toward), what would be the equivalent? 4X54 watt t5's? 6X54 watt? It would be a DIY in side my current canopy...and I currently run 10000K's and actinics...

My corals: huge platygyra, lots of mushrooms, too much GSP, lots of candy canes, porites digita, montipora digita, couple of brains....

With a quality retro kit and good reflectors, 4x54 would be nice for the tank and better than the PCs you're running. 6x54 and you'll be able to grow whatever you want.
