Hello to all here I haven't met. I have met some but not many people around here. I am currently upgrading from my 50g cadlights artisan to a 90g that is being built by steffen/puffin. I just wanted to share a little of my 50g before it gets taken down.

Here is a fts

Very nice Jared! You need to post some pics of the pair the Kevin (PIA) hooked you up with...I have not seen them but I hear they are bad a$$

Sweet tank, im digging the cubes. if i went bigger i would go 60 or 93g cube. What type of overflow are you going with and dimensions for the next tank ??

Nice tank, welcome to STARS

Thank you, I have been around for awhile but I am just a low key reefer lol

Nice tank and coral collection. Really like those chalices.
Thank you very much, my collection keeps growing I will have to get some more pics of all my frags.

Yeah cubes are pretty cool. Steffen is building me an intank center overflow I believe. Next tank is gonna be 48x24x18 starphire on three sides :)

Here is the best pic of them that I could get. There is actually 9 fish in this picture :)

who has a Radion here? Im setting up a 58g and was interested in some LED's but want to know peoples opinion on brands and wattage I should go for since I intend to keep mostly sps

The 50 is coming home with me and will house some of my clowns and my angels while I decide on the tank Steffen will build for me.

Jared is running the radions. They look awesome.

whats gonna happen to the 50g? and are you gonna paint the tank, cover the overflow ? get another radion ?

I am using the AI sol blues and I gotta say that the colors I am getting out of the corals are very nice. I was hesitant on going LED from reading so many people saying they couldnt cover the spectrum the corals growth rate was slow and so on....I would go this route again any day!! in fact I may be ordering another AI to put another one over my FT and get better coverage. HTH.

Didnt mean to hijack your thread Jared sorry...

gonna go with black on the back of the tank, I am not sure on the overflow yet I might just leave it as is. Yep one more radion is on my list lol.

I have one radion over my current tank. I really love it, for me I really like the ability to program the spectrum, intensity, and a lunar cycle. Radions do have green and red leds to go along with the white, blue and royal blue, but as far as the red and greens do for the corals I am not too sure but they do help match the spectrum of metal halides.

Thanks Ben!

Lol no a hijack at all , always good to help fellow reefers and since we have two different brands we can both give feedback :spin1: I am a fan of leds in general due to our desert heat
