upgrading to 292+ Starphire

today I picked up stand from powder coat . It took them four weeks to complete tomorrow I'll drop it off at the acrylic shop.
I am planning on using acrylic to enclose the stand and canopy. some new pictures tomorrow.

Are you planning to have clearance between the top of your tank and your hood? Or, will there be a an overlap that will seal the gap around the top?

the place I had my powder coat done was up in Ventura County called Bell's powder coat.

Thanks Mike
tomorrow on Friday I will pick up my stand from my friend Robert who owns American plastics. I decided to use plastic to enclose the stand that way I don't have to worry about stains or wood warping due to the heat and moisture.

Mike I am planning on using AC3 and 2 of the DC8 1 DC4 to integrate my system plus hook up a PC with a touchscreen
and two cameras one inside the sump area and one for the front of the tank that way when I'm on the ocean be able to check on my system. On my research I have found people and like yourself are having problems with the DC8 can you give me more input. Before I spend $1000 on the Neptune system .

it’s almost been nine weeks for me. I haven’t been able to work on tank. I tore up my right knee. Had to have surgery done on my knee. Some of my friends are coming over to my house this weekend to lift the tank up on the stand. So I can start plumbing the return lines and the discharge. on May 21 will be moving the new tank in the house and removing old tank l thank it will be one long week .

this afternoon I went to Lowe’s to pick up some pvc pipe fittings I was only able to pick up two thirds of my list here’s a pitcher what $300 buys now be able to start plumbing this weekend.

That powdercoated stand is the Tits!!

Make sure you cycle those ball-valves monthly to prevent any sticking issues.

Great Tank!
