UPS has done it again!

I'll let the picture do the talking... the stand arrived today but there was no note, slip, nothing regarding the tank. After checking my tracking number this is what showed up...

Unfortunately it doesn't say "will notify recipient" I wonder what happened?

All I wanted to do was play with my new tank this weekend!

What part of "FRAGILE" do UPS not understand?

IMO, the more FRAGILE stickers you put on it, the more they throw it around.

I personally watched a lady delivery person drag a package out of the back of the truck & drop ~4 feet.

When it hit the ground, she just looked around like "Did anybody see that?".

There was absolutely NO EFFORT to remove the package carefully.

Nothing more frustrating than a critical broken part when you are trying to do a build out. Hope you get it squared away quickly.

i have seen footprints ON the fragile sticker. also seen a metal bar attached to a lighting track tube as support bent at almost 45 degrees. *** ups?!
hope they buy you a new one.

After talking to UPS the report says "glass was sticking out of the package."
UPS talked me through a whole bunch of BS saying it may take over a month to complete the process...

After speaking with fish.com about it they said they'd send me a new one on Monday no questions asked! Too bad I'm leaving town Wed. morning...

BTW I got the tank and stand shipped for $465, pretty good from other places I've checked.

It is great to hear that someone believes in customer service these days. I bought a Nano Cube 24 from JBJ back in Feb. I am still waiting for an issue to be resolved.

I shipped an expensive cigar humidor from Virginia to the Springs. Since the box weighed over 50 LBS, it was put on the bottom as part of the "Base". When it got here ,the top was shattered and the hinges and side trim busted out. It looked as though something had been dropped on the corner. I had insured it so we were paid for it but it was as shame to destroy such a beautiful piece.

UPS has so many horror stories on this forum compared to FEDEX. I try to stick with FEDEX since I've had now issues to date (I know, knock on wood).
