I have had my purple pincushion for about 3 weeks now and was wondering are they venomous like the black longspine urchins? I have not found anything stating they are. He has become a moving pile of live rock rubble and I can't see any of his body at all. I am affraid I am going to grab him or brush against him while fartin aroun in the tank. How long do they usually hold on to things and is it bad that he is completly covered?
