Urgent! Clown fish parasite?

Hi,
my 2 clownfish have been violently fighting for the last week. I had called my LFS and they said that fighting like this is normal so I thought it would be ok, and 2 days ago they settled up but it looks like the female clown has damaged the male too much too heal naturally, as you can see in the pictures the male has chunks of his fins missing, and is growing parasite? or fungus? on his mouth. he is eating well but I am extremely worried, in the past my LFS has taken and treated my fish when they were sick but they said no to the clown because they think he might have ick. I don't know what to do. is this contagious to other healthy fish? and how can I treat it without a hospital tank? can I use garlic or freshwater dip? HELP!

Thanks.

the ripped fins from them fighting will heal naturally once they stop. if that really is a patch caused by ich (can't tell from the pic because its too blurry) then all the fish in the tank would be exposed to it and potentially have it. All the medicines that treat ich should only be used in a hospital/quarantine tank and the only other option would be the tank transfer method which is not nearly as hard on the fish as most of the ich medicines. theres a sticky in the fish disease treatment forum about the TTM if I'm not mistaken and if you don't find it than use the forum search

I don't believe that is ich. I would treat your tank with Prazipro as it will get rid of most parasites which I believe the one on the clowns face to be a fluke. The other pictures aren't clear enough to ID the white areas but again I do not believe it to be ich.

Prazipro is reef safe and I will be treating my DT as soon as my order for Prazi arrives. Too bad I can't get it locally :( Neither Petsmart or Petco didn't have it. :hammer:

Thank you all so much! I will take a picture with my new camera which should be a lot clearer. the clown still seems to be eating like mad so maybe it has worms or something, I have ordered prazipro from amazon, so it should be here soon, will let you know if it works.

Thanks.
Ethan.
