Urgent Help Requested!

Long story short - the GFCI tripped last night and was not discovered until this morning. I just got home from our disneyland trip and the stench nearly knocked me over.
What I need is a bunch of RO water for massive water changes tonight and tomorrow. Please let me know if you can donate some water to help out. Thanks go out ot Keith Grandt for coming over this morning and sorting things out, but it's time for some serious water changes, and a few scoops of live sand may be of some help as well.
Thanks in advance, and I'll be up late.
Jeremy

Love to help but I just did a water change myself. Sorry man. If I had read this sooner I would have had 15G for you!

Jeremy,

I have plenty of RODI water, but I live quite far from you. :( You might want to check with CRS tomorrow. I heard that they give away free RODI (but I could be wrong).

PM me if you really want to drive out to Davis to pick up some water. I have a 55 gallon drum that we can fill with water.

I've got 15-20 gallons of reef crystals water I made up about a week ago. You're welcome to it if you like, I'm in Roseville as well off of Blue Oaks....I'll PM you my #

I have about a hundred gallons of made Reef Crystals SW all made up and testing about 1.025, and about 50g of fresh RO water. You are welcome to both/all.

I can offer 20g RO/DI, 20g pure water store water, 40g Reef Crystals mix @ 1.024. The only problem is I can't come to you any time soon.

I just sent him along with 40+ gallons of Fresh RODI in my 55 Drum.
Tank sitter said it was on last night, and this morning it was all off...

I don't know exactly where he lives but, he may need your guys offers as well...

Hope all goes well Jeremy. I swear i am also so blown away how this stuff always happens when people are on vacation, its crazy

I have concluded that there is a dark force inside our houses, and our constant presence in the house keeps it at bay, for the most part.
But when we leave for extended periods, it's free to roam and cause destruction!

Just like when the water line burst in my garage when no one was home. Pulled into my drive way to see water pouring out the door :(

He's located in Roseville close to Sutter Hospital.

Jeremy, I have about 45 gallons of RO/DI in Rocklin. I'm not sure how we'd get it to your place, but let me know and we can work it out. If you want it, I'll drop a couple heaters in it to start warming it up. PM'd you my #.

Dude, KMP can testify. I know he's been in my driveway with an inverter between his car any my tank when we were out of town... And that wasn't the only time he saved it. This stuff only seems to happen when you're head/body is somewhere else.

Sorry for the delayed response guys. You are all awesome. I got about 75gal from Ed and Steve, which is being heated and mixed as we speak. My 100 gpd RO is cranking now and will be running all night, so I should be set. It just so happened that I used the last of my stock in my auto top off setup for the trip and didn't have the chance to make any extra before I left(to busy getting things ready for the open house).
I should be doing a 45g water change shortly, and I'm setting up a QT tank for those corals that will likely die, but still have a fighting chance. I don't want the additional decay in the main system. I will also be pulling and tossing everything that is definitely gone.
So far the obvious casualties are the 3 percs(1 really nice mated pair of onyx percs), the starfish, a nice favites, and at least a dozen sps. Most of the others are in obvious distress, but the water is still too cloudy to really tell and I will find out in the morning what is left.
The strange thing is that it appears that all 3 shrimp and both tangs and the 6 line wrasse survived. At least for now.
I'll give an update when things settle a bit.
Thanks again everyone for the support.

It's not a dark force, it's the Gremlins
