Urgent I.D. Help (Parasite)?

Sounds like snout rot. Look at this page to help identify for sure:

Seahorse diseases

There is an Emergency forum at seahorse.org. They could help you to treat your horse and are quick to respond. I believe the treatment is with neomycin, but you should ask there to be certain. I believe Metronidazole may be easier to get from a LFS, though not as strong and may help in the short term. I purchased mine as a seachem product from my LFS. You can get the meds you will need from Dan at seahorse source. It is usually a good idea to keep some of them on hand. I keep a kit with these on hand at all times:

Formalin
Neomycin
Methlene Blue
Triple Sulfa
Metronidazole

How long have you had that sea horse for?
I tried, swiping a few of them from work. they died in less than a week.

I have no luck at all for them.
