Urgent. Tank shrink wrapped

Ok long story short floors resurfaced and I sealed the tank with shrink wrap to keep fumes out. How long can I safely leave it this way till O2 becomes a problem it's a 55 fish only filter still running.

What is your bio-load like? any way you could run a bubbler from outside into the tank?

Oxygen can go down pretty quick under the wrong conditions.

The closest outdoors is 200ft away it's a large building and no no skimmer. It has two damsels and two tangs.

Well it's actually a rollerskating rink where I work. Skate floor being redone much more potent stuff and the floor space is probably more than most houses

well if you have no option to plumb air in then i would suggest finding some way to filter the indoor air with a large amount of carbon. Is there any ventilation taking place? I cant imagine if the fumes are so toxic why they would have workers breathing this stuff. Ask your supervisor or maintenance if they can turn on an air exchanger if one isnt already running.

Slight attempts to vent air. It's difficult however I did run an air pump from an adjoining room that the air is better than the room the tank is in.

The only other thing i can suggest is to remove the fish for the time being, and re-add them when the air quality is better

Please don't turn this into one of "those" threads.

Can you purchase 200 feet of clear airline tubing from Lowes or HD and run an air pump with an air stone from Outside the building into the tank? That would be more than sufficient for air needs.
