URS PAR reading picture thread

Good to hear Gary...my pleasure. I'm still fairly certain that the "range" of lighting that corals can tolerate, or even thrive in, is much greater then people suspect. As far as loaning the meter out...that is what it is all about...makes it much more fun for everyone!!!
Spinoleo, we have not done that. Not sure about others. MK

OK Mark I am going to have some data to post in a week or so if you would like to come over or let me borrow the meter again.

I just ordered a 8 bulb T5HO setup and this will be interesting to test the same exact areas and compare them against the previous light

Curiosity, Once it makes it back to Rochester what is the current "standing in-line" list? I think it will help people to understand when they might expect to be able to use the meter. Thanks again for the efforts!

Bob- there's no "waiting list" set in stone, but I'd be more than happy to bring this to you ASAP if Mark Klier allows me to once it gets back to Ro cha cha.

We will set up a loop through Rochester when it gets back. Will keep you posted...
Will we get it to John and Gary who are both close by then go from there...

Ok here goes. This is a standard 90 24” deep. I have two different ballasts
as you will see by the readings. The one is a M58 (higher readings) from hellolights
and the other is one I got from a fellow reefer.
Both bulbs are XM 10K 250 watt.

This is my 90 FOWLR - using 4 T8 bulbs that are overdriven 2x - Cheap Atto Daylight bulbs and Coral Sun actinics

Gary,

I broke down and bought my own since I hate borrowing stuff from people and it's a good investment to monitor my lighting system. I ordered it the night before the gig at Mark's a couple of weeks ago.

What brand did you get? I see theres a couple out there. I'm also thinking about getting one.

Dave I ordered mine through Apogee directly on their website for about $260. It's the same as Mark's almost but I didn't get the one with the dual calibration since I wasn't planning on measuring sunlight at all.
