USB driver

Hello,

I'm trying to hook up the profilux to a laptop that has no RS232 connection, only USB.

I am told a special driver is needed to enable RS232 simulation on a USB port. Willy any generic driver work, or do I need something specific made by GHL? Any links would be appreciated.

If using the supported PLM-USB expansion card the driver comes with the kit.

If not then what ever you are using should have a supplied driver with it, if not then you will need to find the make of the RS232-USB converter and locate the driver on the manufactures web site

ok that was easy, found the dynex driver I needed and it worked.

had a quick scare when it failed to connect at first... then I realized the driver was set to Com3 instead of Com1.
