Use LED bulbs to light fuge?

Has anyone ever tried or got any info on them ? I am referring to these:

They use almost no electricity (1watt) !! If these will actually grow chaeto, then I will probably get rid of LR in my sump and put some chaeto in it.

I want to cut down electricity costs from my tank as much as possible ...

i dunno about those led lamps
however homedepot sells pc flood lamps in a blue package that use 16w but has the output of 90w and has a spectrum of 65k wich grows cheato great

LEDs usually have a spectrum that's very different from sunlight. If you're dead-set on LED's, maybe try one designed for indoor gardening or something?

plus it said its only about a 15 watt light bulb so i dont think thats bright enough
