Used/Old GHL product upgradability.

Hi,

May I know which old/previous GHL profiLux models are not upgradable or upgradable?

Reason asking is that I saw some affordable old/used GHL product such as Pll or Pll light are sold in the market. Due to budget constraint, I would like try it and upgrade it when my financial allows at the later stage.

Get the P2 it is a great controller and is upgradable to the P3.

I "believe" that you need a PII+ or higher to be upgradeable. My understanding is the PII isn't upgradeable to "ex" or a PIII.

To Sum up:

PII - Not upgradable
PII Light - Not Upgradable
PII Outdoor - Not Upradable

PII+ - Upgradable to PII+ eX, PIII or PIII eX
PII+ eX - Upgradable to PIII eX

To upgrade a Basic PII+ (or PIII) to an eX you need the eX expansion.
To Upgrade a PII+ or PII+ eX to a PIII you need the PIII Upgrade.
