user name, what do they mean?

I know at the meeting it was nice to meet a couple of people and put faces and names to the forum user names. I got to thinking "what the hell do some of your names mean?" Just curious....:lol: I thought I would start a post so maybe some of you can explain your cryptic names... and maybe tell us your first names. I know some just use their first and last names but some I have no clue.

Mine is obviously my first name and PSU for Penn State Univ since I am an Alumni and bleed Blue and White (to all you Pitt students and grads.......j/k)

Anyone else? This goes to anyone on the RC forums.

Mine is a bit political. Came about around 14 years ago, and I was feeling kind of Misled by what was going on. I signed up for DVE's fantasy football and used it as my team name that year. Kinda just stuck.

Mine is a pet name friends and I had in college for a unit in a Blizzard's real time strategy game, Starcraft. Yes, I admit it, I'm a nerd. The unit is actually called a dark templar, but we always called them cloakerpokers because they were a melee unit that was invisible. Also has the added benefit of NEVER being used on a site that I sign up on.

I think they can transfer your posts/info, looks like TJ just did that.

Yeah you can change your name, you just go into the "Feedback Forum" (or you could probably PM a mod) and make a post requesting a name change. Be sure to make sure you have the correct capitalization, spelling, etc... so it looks just like you want it.

I saw it mentioned that you can only change it once, but am not sure if that is true or not.
