using multi media

I have a deltec fr509 fluidised reactor.
Now is it possible to add different media to the fluidiser at the same time for example rowa phos and rowa carbon and if so would I have to seperate the media or can it be chucked in together so it mixes up.

I use phosphat media and carbon in my fluidized reactor.
