Using timers

Hi Roger,
I have 6055, 6105 and two 7091. Pumps are on opposite sides of the tank pulsing from 30% to 100%.
I would like to run them one at a time in one-two hour interval using timers.
Before I do that I would like to know if it's OK to turn on and off these models.
If it's OK what would be the minimum interval that you would not recomend to go below?
Don't want to damage the pumps or void the warranty. TIA.

You can do this, but I would consider that 2 7091 and 2 timers will likely cost more than a 7096 and definitely more than the 7092 which will be available in October, you may be money ahead by selling the 7091 and getting a new controller. I would stick to intervals of more than 15 minutes, 6 hours is generally what we recommend because it coincides with the natural tidal frequency.

Thanks for the answer and suggestion. For now I'll use what I already have but definitely will replace two 7091 with a Multicontroller. Wish you had some type of trade-in program.
Could you provide a little more info (or link) about features of 7092?

If you download the Interzoo 2010 flyer you can see it there, it is essentially a 6091 and 7091 combined and can run 2 pumps and they can be synchronized or inverted.
