The day you get it is day one. If it is found dead on the morning of the 14th day, should you be entitled to a credit?
also thinking if it dies on day 14 there would probably be some signs, visable or behavorial, that would clue you in the fish is suffering...i would call the vendor once you see that to let them know...and keep them in the loop...send a pic if you have to...ime, most vendors will honor the guar. even after 14 days if you document a problem and keep them in the loop...
Any signs of problems or did it just up and die?That's what I thought. I have a fish that was delivered on the 8th. It died on the 21st and the vendor is backing out because it lasted, "...until the 14th day".
I don't know about other vendors, but if you keep LiveAquaria in the loop with what is going on with your new fish, they are very flexible regarding the guarantee.
